Salvo offers a delivery service from its regional distribution facilities within the UK. Whether you are an independent pizzeria, restaurant, delicatessen or a hotel, Salvo is committed to providing you with friendly, efficient, and reliable delivery right to your premises and according to the schedule that suits you best.

Vans-66Nationwide Trade Delivery

Salvo operates a nationwide delivery service using temperature-controlled vehicles to maintain product integrity across ambient, chilled and frozen ranges. Our distribution model enables us to deliver directly to business premises, preserving quality from depot to kitchen.

Delivery availability is postcode-dependent. During trade account registration, customers can confirm eligibility and view their allocated delivery days. This structured route planning ensures consistency and reliability across all service areas.

Live Driver Tracking – Stay in Control

Salvo offers live delivery tracking for trade customers who opt in to receive updates.

Once your order leaves the depot, you’ll receive real-time email and SMS notifications with delivery status and driver location. This gives your kitchen team clear visibility of arrival times and allows better service planning.

10pm Online Order Cut-Off – Built Around Your Service

Salvo offers a 10pm online order cut-off for next-day delivery.
(Subject to location and scheduled delivery days.)

Manchester remains at a 6pm cut-off time.

Orders placed before the relevant deadline are processed for the next available delivery day within your allocated route schedule.

A later ordering window gives chefs and operators more time to review stock after service, place accurate orders and manage yield and margin with confidence.

Trade Account Access

Delivery services are available exclusively to approved trade customers. Once registered, customers benefit from:

  • Online ordering via desktop or mobile

  • Real-time stock visibility

  • Order history and streamlined re-ordering

  • Account management tools

  • Live tracking updates - email & text

This platform offers full control over purchasing and helps businesses manage stock efficiently.

Minimum Order Requirement

All deliveries are subject to a minimum order value (excluding VAT). Orders must reach the minimum spend threshold in order to be processed. The system will not allow orders below this amount. This ensures efficiency and sustainability for our nationwide delivery network.

For areas where Salvo does not operate direct delivery, we can provide a quote for delivery via a third-party courier. Please note that such deliveries will often require a higher minimum order quantity to make the service feasible.

Catch-Weight Products

Certain products are supplied on a catch-weight basis. While an estimated weight may be shown at the time of ordering, the final invoice reflects the actual weight delivered. This ensures accurate and transparent billing based on the precise quantity supplied.

Collections from Depot

 

Customers have the option to place an order online and collect instead of have this delivered. If you place an order and do wish to collect, please let our Customer Services know as soon as possible to ensure we have the time to amend this for you and the order does not get dispatched.

Collection is only available from our Cheshunt depot. Customers wishing to collect orders must organise their visit in advance with our customer service team to ensure orders are prepared and ready for collection at the agreed time. This option provides additional flexibility for businesses located near Cheshunt.

Please note collection cut-off time is 4pm.
